Gaming Metrics: Innovation & Surveillance in Academic Misconduct

Misconduct has traditionally been tied to the pressures of "publish or perish" and, more recently, to the new opportunities offered by electronic publishing. This two-day conference (February 4 at the Mondavi Center, February 5 at King Hall) takes the next step, asking whether the modalities of misconduct are now evolving to adapt themselves to modern metrics-based regimes of academic evaluation.
