New this year: Undergraduate presentation day on Friday May 19th.

The UC Davis History Department is thrilled to present its second annual conference.  We welcome and encourage attendance by graduates, undergraduates, and faculty from across all disciplines.  The conference has a broad interdisciplinary focus and covers a wide range of topics. 

Panels include presentations on:

Labour, Resources, Representation, Memory and Cognition, Modernity, Language, Music, Humour, Fashion, War, and More…

Keynote Speaker: Professor Ian Campbell, on finding and analyzing culture in literary and non-literary materials

Special Presentation by the Writing Across the Curriculum program on interdisciplinary methods and pedagogy.
