John Daniels, Social Science Data Service

John Daniels is the Statistical Programming Consultant and Systems Administrator for the Social Science Data Service. He maintains the SSDS central research systems, and provides expert consulting for the most commonly used statistical and mathematical software applications employed by Division of Social Science researchers. He also provides general research-oriented computing advice for more specialized projects.

With degrees in Political Science from Santa Clara University, and the Monterey Institute of International Studies, John has spent more than twenty years in the fields of information technology and quantitative research support. Before coming to University of California, Davis, John served in a similar capacity at Indiana University, and Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis.
